This also is not meant to imply the following criteria applies to everyone in the tribes below... i.e. Not all Efik babes are good in bed. I mean, I personally think a good amount (NOT ALL) of it is true, but that's just my personal opionion. The thing caused heavy conversation between me and friends and so I decided to share. Enjoy!! If you've seen it before then I'm sure it wont hurt to read again :)

Those lined up to lead and speak at the rally tagged ‘Enough is enough’ include Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka; former Kaduna State governor, Alhaji Balarabe Musa; the Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Pastor of the Later Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

Togo officially disqualified from Africa Cup of Nations

Togo have been officially disqualified from the Africa Cup of Nations, according to tournament organisers. "They are disqualified. This group (B) is a three-team tournament," said the Confederation of African Football. The Togo team flew home from Angola on Sunday after Friday's gun attack on their bus which left three people dead.

But there had been conflicting reports concerning Togo's participation in the event, where they were in a group with Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Ghana. Togo had been due to open their campaign against Ghana on Monday. Earlier, Togo's Prime Minister Gilbert Huongbo had denied the country had wanted to re-enter the tournament. Huongbo's assertion came despite claims from Togo's sports minister, Christophe Tchao, that a formal request had been made to return after a three-day period of mourning.

That request was turned down by Caf, which said that Togo would be disqualified if they failed to play the group match against Ghana

Is Religion Good For The Next Generation?

 by kennedy Ihewuokwu

Please don’t crucify me yet, read and get my point. I am not evil or an atheist. I so much believe in God and as a catholic, I believe in His presence in the Blessed Sacrament. If we trace the root of Nigeria’s civilization and development, religion has played a very big role. Religious institutions in Nigeria were the first to build primary schools, hospitals, stopped the killing of twins, and many other traditional immoralities. I once asked my father, why many Nigerians (especially Igbo people) use English names instead of their tribal names. He said during the colonization era, people wouldn’t be enrolled into schools or got baptized in a church unless they have an English name. READ MORE

Hitler defends Nigeria!

Hitler feels its wrong for Nigeria to be labeled a terrorism prone country.  Just Fun intended!

Prof. Wole Soyinka speaks about US listing of Nigeria on terror list

“the United States of America’s decision to list Nigeria on their terror list is irrational and lacks objectivity.

“The arguments that have been raised are straight forward. Places where terrorism schools are, are located outside Nigeria and those are the countries where people are indoctrinated. Nigeria has nothing to do with terrorism except for one aberrant lad who attempted to blow up a plane and he is already paying for it.

“I do not know of any other country where a parent has done what the father of Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab did in advance, for reporting his son to both the United States and Nigerian security agencies.

“What concerns me is what led the US government to take this decision. I am sure it must be due to lack of good governance which is as a result of Nigeria being a rudderless nation. The decision is timely because of the present state of anarchy in the country. Nigeria is presently a black whole in the galaxy of nations. Unpredictability of the Nigerian nation and our battered image abroad must have also contributed.

“What they are doing is not a way of punishing the government of Nigeria but a people. They should allow us to handle the government and stop harassing innocent Nigerians. Their action is irrational and lacks objectivity,” he said.
