"Nigeria should be divided into two nations" Gaddafi

"Nigeria should be divided into two nations to avoid further bloodshed between Muslims and Christians," Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has said. In a speech to students, he praised the example of India and Pakistan, where he said partition saved many lives. Splitting Nigeria "would stop the bloodshed and burning of places of worship," state news agency Jana quoted him as saying.

I respect this man a lot, but I wonder why he should interfere in another state's government. What do you guys think of his statement?

He is very right, and I know about 90% of Nigerians would agree to his statement

Muammah Gaddafi is out of touch with modern day politics.
I thought he was championing the cause of ''Africn Unity'' and''One Government'' in Africa. I expected him to be calling on the factions to unite rather than separate. Christians and Moslems are living together peacefully in other countries across the globe.

Courageous advice from Ghadaffi. Nigerian leaders should stop deceiving themselves. The mistake of 1914 should be revisited and corrected. Northern Nigeria should go their own way and let Southern Nigeria also go their own way. Period.

Any Well educated Nigeria of any age and experience will definitely agree to Gadaffi. What he said is not courageous or news to us, it is the very fact.. the truth, the solution to the mistake Lord Luggard made in 1914
